As anticipated, Her Name In Blood took artist of the week by a long shot. A very recent find, I was drawn in upon first listen of their debut album Decadence, an occurrence that has sadly been uncommon recently. Now, those of us who are familiar with the deathcore genre will be familiar with how it's barren wasteland of substanceless drivel punctuated with the occasional sign of life. Not much a fan of the genre, save for a select few bands, I can safely say that HNIB have earned their place at the top of these few. Another of these "let's just have fun" bands that seem to frequent my listening, they trade morbid spite for bouncier approach to the genre, with a party-like attitude and clear Misery Signals-esque melodic overtones. Definitely recommended for fans of the metal-er side of hardcore.All downloads are supplied by other blogs and not by me. I generally don't promote the downloading of awesome bands but HNIB's album Decadence is near impossible to buy.
