It may be summer holidays now in NZ, but in less than a couple of months I'll be plunging headlong into a year of hectic schoolwork and stress overloads. And I don't know about you, but it's times like those that music keeps me sane.
And so, I have decided to start a weekly tradition of posting about my highest played artist this week on last.fm. I'll be doing this (most) Fridays, having survived a week-long struggle.

This week it goes to New York post-hardcore band
Polar Bear Club. A few days ago I received my copy of their album
Chasing Hamburg (along with records by Strike Anywhere, Ceremony and Ruiner) and it seems to have been on repeat since. Their eclectic mix of upbeat melodic hardcore with moody indie rock has enforced
Chasing Hamburg as my summer soundtrack.
